About
Aurelia Carbone is a Lecturer at Adelaide Central School of Art, and is also undertaking her Master of Visual Arts by Research at the South Australian School of Art.
Her current work Honest Magic involves the use of anamorphosis. She constructs anamorphically distorted scenes, and then carefully captures the resulting optical illusion with a 4x5 view camera. Aurelia is passionate about photography in all it's forms - the traditional, experimental and digital and all the places where they intersect.
Aurelia lives in a seaside suburb of Adelaide, Australia with her husband, their toddler & newborn, and a backyard full of native plants, birds and vegetables. They keep a blog and would love for you to visit.
